Join us at the Meridian Museum of Art for a special reception celebrating Lindsay Dyess, winner of Best of Show in the 51st Annual Bi-State Competition. Originally from the Alabama Gulf Coast, Lindsay lives in Pelham, Alabama, and graduated from the University of Montevallo with a degree in studio painting. Her work has since expanded into printmaking and fiber arts, drawing inspiration from childhood fairy tales, books, history, and nature. Her artwork has been exhibited at the Meridian Museum of Art, the University of Montevallo’s Bloch Hall Gallery, and the Shelby County Arts Council.
Alongside Lindsay’s work, this exhibition will feature artwork from the Mississippi Prison Writes Initiative, Vino & Van Gogh, and the Meridian Museum of Art Artists’ Group. Join us in celebrating these artists and the creativity of our community! A reception will be held on Friday, November 7, from 5–7 p.m. We hope to see you there!
